London Art Workshop produce furniture for private individuals and galleries.
We can work to your specifications or we can design something for your particular needs, to suit your space and budget.
We have a wealth of experiance producing both fitted and freestanding objects in a variety of materials.
When it comes to the taste of collectors, artists, designers and gallerists we have a good eye for detail; we are also proficient at judging which materials and finishes complement a domestic or gallery setting. We work a lot with artists and have become accustomed to interpreting what individuals want even if it is not always obvious.
We have undertaken small libraries, imposing front-of-house desks and bespoke kitchens – both contemporary and period. We have originated some interesting garden studios and of course a variety of shelving, racking, storage solutions and other projects too numerous to mention.
We mostly work in hardwoods, birch ply or painted panel products. We regularly laminate in Formica and other plastics. And are happy to discuss experimental jobs.
